Funding for compensation is determined through budget preparations and is based on strategic goals of the organization.

To be eligible for monthly general meeting compensation:

1)      must have been an active unit representative in the current calendar year. (January through December).

2)      must provide a written unit report via email to the Local President by the week of the general meeting each month (minimum 100 words).

3)      must be prepared to provide a verbal report, if asked, at that month’s general meeting.

For units with two (2) representatives, only one (1) representative may be eligible per general meeting.

This applies to a maximum of nine (9) general meetings. Does not apply to the AGM.

Compensation will be awarded within the first sixty (60) days of the next calendar year.

Complete unit rep compensation form after the December General meeting and submit to the Local office by January 31^st of the next calendar year.

If you are an executive member as well as a unit representative, you are ineligible for this compensation.
