PURPOSE To protect any executive member from any perceived, potential or real conflict of interest in the performance of their duties.

SCOPE SUN Local 75 Executive

PROCEDURE An executive member shall declare themselves in a conflict of interest when a situation arises. They shall leave prior to the portion of the meeting where the issue is discussed and voted on.

Executive members absent from participation due to a conflict of interest are still included in determining quorum for a meeting. The minutes must record all declarations of conflict of interest. No executive member or immediate family or business partner shall enter into a business arrangement with the Saskatchewan Union of Nurses Local 75.
