SUN Provincial Annual Meeting: April 22,23,24 2026 in Regina
Local 75 is funding 40 members.
Steps to apply
- Must Register and apply for funding with SUN Provincial. (choose request provincial funding)
- Complete the Google Docs link to apply for Local 75 funding.
- Deadline to apply for funding will be March 13that noon (we are doing our selections very early to allow people to get LOAs from work and book within our block of hotel rooms the Local has reserved)
- Selection emails will go out the week of March 16th, at that time you will receive a detailed email on how to apply for your LOAs, how to book hotel rooms within our block etc… You are not to apply for LOAs until you have received a confirmation of selection email from the SUN Local 75 PR and Education email account. (The local compensates 3 shifts and 3 nights hotel for this event).

Union Basics 101(New Member Education)
- Learn about unionism, schedules, positions, trials periods, LOAs, overtime, premiums and much more!
- This is a one time educational for members in their first 5 years of SUN.
- Your SUN seniority date must be between April 2021 and April 2026 in order to be eligible to attend.
- This is a 5 hour paid educational on April 29th.
- You must be on a day off to attend this as the union will be paying you for the 5 hours only and no UNION LEAVES will be provided
- This is first come first served and will close after 25 people have signed up
- Registration for this event will close April 29th at 430pm (or sooner if 25 people have signed up).
- Please read the policy regarding expectations for attending the educational.

SUN Local 75 is partnering again with Evolve Counselling & Wellness to put on another ZOOM Wellness Series in May!
They will be every Tuesday from 8:30-9:30pm.

May 12th – Burnout-Going beyond Self-Care by Laura Walter BSW, RSW
May 19th – The Heart of Care: Extending Compassion Inward by Nicole Brown CCPA student
May 26th -Leaving Work at Work: Strategies for Decompressing Post-Shift by Julie Anstey OT
- Theses are 1 hour ZOOM sessions from the comfort of your home to take in some good information and share or listen in a safe space
- As a take time for yourself incentive, we will offer a $10 gift card after you have attended a session to literally “fill your cup” and take some time for you.
- I will post the zoom link for these sessions the morning of and reminders closer too, but put the dates in your calendars for now!
